The competition venue will be the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Velodrome, located in the Olympic and Paralympic Park in Barra da Tijuca.

The track, 250 meters long, is built from Siberian pine and features a slope of 12 degrees at its lowest point and 42 degrees at its highest point.

The velodrome has a seating capacity of approximately 5,600 spectators.
