Traditionally, in cycling competitions, teams rent their vehicles from regular car rental companies (e.g., Europcar, AVIS, HERTZ, etc.); however, in Brazil, unfortunately, this service is not possible. Brazilian law allows only drivers with a special professional driver’s license to operate vehicles with more than 9 seats. Therefore, regular rental companies do not offer vehicles with more than 7 seats in their fleet.

The Organizing Committee will provide, free of charge, transfer services (airport/hotel/airport) and sports equipment transport for teams that book accommodation directly through them. Transport reservations must be requested via a specific transport form, which will be sent to all teams by email.

IMPORTANT: Transport services will not be provided between the hotels and the velodrome due to the short distance between the hotels and the competition venue.

TRANSFER AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT TRANSPORT BOOKING

For teams that do not book accommodation in one of the official hotels and wish to hire transfer services (airport/hotel/airport) and equipment transport, there is the option to hire these services separately, according to the service table below:

Note: The above fees are calculated for two trips, one on the team’s arrival and one on departure.

Bicycles and equipment will be transported according to vehicle capacity and may arrive at the hotel after the team. Every four hours, the truck will make the trip even if full capacity is not reached. The airport team will inform the team of the equipment departure time and the estimated arrival time at the hotel/velodrome, with possible delays due to traffic.
